SPRING 2010 MENS : GIVENCHY

Riccardo Tisci is still putting shorts over leggings for men ( i love the look) . it seems that he has calmed down the collection since the past to seasons , he has gone to the more tailoring side but also including sports wear like tailored tracksuit pants with shirts , he has used north African prints on tees and pants . Suit jackets and slim leg tracksuit pants are a big look for me that I'm going to be wearing very soon. The collection is amazing.

RESORT 2010 : ROKSANDA ILINCIC

Roksanda Ilincic has produced a Gothic elegant collection for spring 2010 , with dark colours , nudes and yellows . It has a lingerie feel to it on the dresses and light looking structured tailoring. This shows that you can still wear one of two pieces of your previous winter clothes for example use a lace dress as a top, team with black tailored pants or harem pants and a pair of high heels and your ready to go.

RESORT 2010 : ALEXANDER WANG

Alexander wang one of my favourite designers ( excited for the menswear collection) its not rock and roll like his previous collection, its high-end sportswear meets denim and sequins, its dressed up but effortless for example teaming a preppy stripe knitted jumper with a midnight blue sequined wrap skirt and a jersey gown .

RESORT 2010 : MATTHEW WILLIAMSON

Resort is one of Matthew Williamson's element, bold , bright prints, sequins,silks, safari prints and looks, its a young and fresh collection for the glamorise type of girl. its like exotic fashion meets hippie chic (can't get enough of that word).

The shoe i personally love there like cut out heeled cow boy boots.

I can see high street stores copying some pieces from this collection.

RESORT 2010: YVES SAINT LAURENT

This collection reminds me of the show Colombo, i really don't know why !

Yves Saint Laurent used a lot of nudes , blacks and shades of red, it is very simple chic

loose harem ankle pants over sheer leggings gives it a relaxed feel topped off with tailoring.

just SIMPLE CHIC is sometimes the way forward .

RESORT 2010 : BASSO & BROOK

Everyone knows that Michelle Obama is fan of BASSO & BOOK, giving them a popularity boost . They have used simply silhouettes with bright paint prints mixed together . The collection has a cartoon , artistic feel to it.

BALMAIN STYLE JACKET AT ZARA

oh yess, you read it right , zara the store that copies everything of the runway has now done a balmain style jacket for their autumn/winter collection which is in stores , it is £89 . i dont have any pictures but trust me on this , the jacket is bad(nice) its something you need to make a statement this season and next season.

its a jersey fabric, double breasted and comes in marl grey and black.

DEAN QUINN

Dean Quinn someone who inspires me , new designer , wasn't even graduated from central saint martins college and was already becoming big in the scene.

His collection has black and white sequins on every single piece, he wowed me when i saw this collection on the runway.

its almost like a high tech version of Chanel, i feel i can make a few menswear pieces based on this collection. Cant't wait to see what he will be doing in the future , it should be good.

i am begining to heart MYKOMAG, and i have only just found out about them this week .hmm i wonder where ive been to miss these fashion icons(well thats what i think). They all have there own blogs, but they are just amazing i cant get enough of them. I hope to see them some day some how some way ha. !!!

christopher kane spring/summer 2009

Christopher Kane london based designer, his spring/summer 2009 collection has made me go ape for it, the collection reminds me of planet of the apes meeting the flinstones with bright colours.

it looks so good, its a shame he doesnt do menswear.
